As the clock ticks away for the eviction of three bands from Star Fameland, organisers of StarQuest, the premier
and foremost musical talent discovery reality TV show in Nigeria, last night brought a professional and seasoned
Senior lecturer, Yeside D. Lawal, to Star Fameland to give the six contesting bands professional tips on stage craft.

She engaged them on some exercises for flexibility and free movement of the body on stage, as well as taking them through some rehearsal sessions with each of the bands on their songs to improve their stage performance skills and artistry. The essence of the well articulated lecture according to the very seasoned and experienced musical guru was to eradicate stage fright in these young and budding musical talents and imbibe in the bands, some of the fundamentals of movement as they face tougher challenges in the competition.

“They don’t really know how to use the stage. They are afraid to look into the audience. You also need to master how to interact with the audience… I noticed this in all of you.” She remarked as she came up with some basic tips on stage artistry to arm the bands for the imminent evictions and the finals of the Quest, slated for Saturday.

The bands are now in high spirit for the semi-final rounds. The competition gets more entertaining and exciting with the big battle now being staged by the bands to remain in contention in the competition.

However, three bands with low vote count from the public will be evicted, this week. Continue to vote for your most favourite band to remain in the competition.
