STAR has been involved in the sponsorship of community festivals in line with the brand’s objective to reinforce bonding with various grass root communities in Nigeria.

The sponsorship involves the organization of a consumer promotion that climaxes on the last day of the festival with a raffle draw on grand finale night.
Prizes like Motorcycles, 5 KVA Generators, 42" Flat Screen TV sets, Deep Freezers, Live cows, Live turkeys, Bags of rice, Gallons of vegetable oil, and other branded consolations prizes are won.

STAR brings 14 exciting days of carnival celebration with live band performances and DJ music, and atleast two activations of STAR RoadQuest to add more excitement and indegineous entertainment to the festivities.Daily lucky dips in participating outlets allow STAR comsumers to win prizes that include branded T Shirts, Face Caps, Musical Cds, Key Rings, Wrist bands and free bottles of STAR.

Prominent among the numerous community festivals sponsored by STAR are: The Igue Festival in Benin-City, Edo State; The Ofalla Nnewi in Enugu State; The Iriji Mbaise in Imo State; The Otan Day in Otan Aiyegbaju, Osun State; The Wilderness Groove in Gboko, Benue State; The Ekimogun Day in Ondo, Ondo State; and The Osun Osogbo Festival in Osun State to mention but a few.
