There are many blissful moments whenever Bliss climb the stage and much of it comes from 21-year old female vocalist Josephine Onyejebose – let’s just call her Joxy Jeb.

Gentle Joxy shares the spotlight upfront with the debonair Friday Eseche. Soft-spoken Friday – or Freddie, as he calls himself, is an opposite personality on stage, lighting up the fire and sounding like a blend of Lionel Richie and Freddie Jackson. The other members of the band also command their space. Bandleader is Jacob Ebike Sanzu, and he keeps the band in check easy, with his cool, confident demeanour, which is an expression he still portrays when he’s hitting hard on the drums!

The wind instrumentalist is Newton Okorie – just call him Newton Sax and he’s ok with that. Newton could be one of the most perfect musicians in the house. Then, of course, there’s the confident, bubbly, vivacious bassist, Kehinde Olusegun, and petite Gift Egi. Keyboard maestro Gift is recognizable on stage by his wizardry and his blow out afro. What’s wrong with that? A musician’s got to have style!
